The Novi Heat is a travel baseball program in Novi, Michigan with the mission to build fundamental skills, emphasize teamwork, and develop strong character that will allow young baseball players to grow as players and young men in a competitive baseball environment.   The Novi Heat is affiliated with the Novi Youth Baseball League (NYBL) and teams are composed of the best youth baseball players in and around the Novi, Michigan area.

Over the last 30 years, the Heat has significantly contributed to the development and success of several hundred players up to the high school varsity and college baseball level, and some Novi Heat players have reached the professional level in Major League Baseball.

Schedules vary based on the level of the team.   Most Novi Heat Baseball teams play a league schedule in the Kensington Valley Baseball & Softball Association (KVBSA) and 4-8 tournaments a year (spring/summer league).  Teams are competitive in both league and tournaments, and have won several championships over the years.  Home fields are at ITC Park in Novi and away games are typically within a half hour to one hour drive.  Depending on the age level, most weekend tournaments will be local within southeast Michigan and will be communicated in advance.

Training is conducted with a combination of on-field fall and spring practices, indoor winter practices, and in-season practices.  We expect players to consistently give 100% effort and work hard to improve.   Novi Heat is a partner in the Strike Zone Indoor training facility.  Indoor practices for teams will primarily be at the Strike Zone.  The Strike Zone is located at 48155 West Road, Wixom, MI.   See Strike Zone tab on this website for additional information about the Strike Zone.

Costs vary per team and are based on the schedule, number of tournaments and level of play.
