Rob Hernandez - In Memoriam

It is with heart-wrenching sadness that we make this post. For those who have not heard, our friend and long-time colleague on the NYBL Board of Directors… Rob Hernandez passed away a few nights ago.

Rob was not only a longtime NYBL coach and director, but a friend to many in our organization. Rob loved organizing NYBL’s participation in the Novi Memorial Day Parade and the NYBL Closing Day and Mid-Season Celebration events. He always tried to make the game fun for the kids on his teams and his passion for the game kept him coaching even after his son Ryan had graduated out of NYBL. His outgoing personality, laughter and enthusiasm will be greatly missed by all of us. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Rob’s family.
